The open bridge concept eliminates the enclosed pilothouse entirely, replacing it with a fully protected but open-air helm station at main deck level surrounded by a social cockpit of 28 square meters — the largest deck social area of any 55-foot production motor yacht in the Funhub range. The helm station provides the full navigation suite — dual 19-inch Garmin chartplotters, radar, AIS, and VHF — mounted at ergonomic height behind a 1.2-meter windshield that deflects wind and spray above the helmsperson’s head while maintaining the open-air sensation. The Seakeeper 9 gyroscopic stabilizer provides class-leading roll reduction — up to 80% in beam sea conditions — that makes the open bridge experience genuinely comfortable in sea states up to 1.5 meters, eliminating the primary disadvantage of the open format compared to enclosed pilothouse designs.
