The Funhub Reef 36 Center Console is engineered from first principles for serious offshore fishing, building every design decision around the requirements of anglers who fish 50 to 100 miles offshore in conditions where boat capability directly determines fishing success and crew safety. The deep-V hull with 24-degree deadrise provides the rough-water performance to safely navigate the Gulf Stream, the Florida Straits, or any offshore fishing ground where sea state is determined by wind-against-current conditions rather than sheltered bay chop. Triple Yamaha F350 four-stroke outboards mounted on the custom-built transom bracket provide 1,050 combined horsepower — sufficient to reach the fishing grounds at 52 knots and return home quickly when weather deteriorates. The hardtop with integrated 39-foot outrigger tower provides elevated visibility for spotting baitfish schools, billfish tailing, and surface temperature changes visible from height that are invisible at deck level. The live well system consists of three separate 80-liter tanks with recirculating pumps, aeration, and overflow drainage that keeps bait alive in any sea condition — critical for live-baiting billfish in blue water. Four 360-degree Pompanette fighting chairs are bolted to the cockpit deck with fighting belt attachments for extended battles with large pelagic fish. A 340-liter fishbox with circulating seawater maintains catch quality throughout the day.
