The hull is cold-molded marine ply over bent oak frames — a construction that achieves the compound curves of the canoe stern, fine entry, and long flat run aft that define the classic yacht silhouette — finished with three layers of epoxy-saturated mahogany veneer that provide waterproof integrity without the weight of traditional carvel planked construction.
