The deep-V hull with 21-degree deadrise at the transom provides the tracking stability and wave-cutting capability that allows the Velocity 38 to maintain comfortable cruising speeds in sea states up to 1.5 meters without the pounding and spray that affects shallower deadrise hulls at equivalent speeds.
